Christmas at Kasteel Engelenburg is like a fairytale. Wonderfully decorated, wonderful dinners with great music and lovely entertainment during the day.
Sunday 24 December
We welcome you in our Christmas decorated house and give you a warm welcome with a cup of coffee and christmas delicacy. In the evening you will have a dinner in our cozy Serre-Sociëteits restaurant. Our resident pianist brings you with romantic tones all the way into the Christmas mood. The chef has composed a culinary 4-course dinner. For the night you can choose between a comfort room or a luxury hotel room in the Orangerie, the Coach House or the Cape Dutch House.
Monday 25 December
In the morning, we present a Christmas breakfast buffet. In the afternoon we organize for our guests a Christmas concert in the 14th century church of Hall. Upon your return, you can enjoy a traditional English High Tea in the Lounge and Bar. 19.30 hours start of your Christmas dinner-dance. We serve an exquisite 6-course dinner in our Serre-Sociëteits restaurant. The musical accompaniment of Quartet Doowap provides stylish dance music.
Tuesday 26 December
In the morning, we present a Christmas breakfast buffet. At 12.00 you will have a walking tour with a guide through the Hanseatic city of Zutphen. At 13.30 hours an art historian provides a tour at the Henriette Polak and The Stedelijk museum at Zutphen. The kitchen team will spoil you in the evening with a 5-course gourmet dinner in our Serre-Sociëteits restaurant. This evening will be musically accompanied by the famous Gypsy ensemble Tata Mirando. We offer also the opportunity to dine in our VIP Serre with background music.
Wednesday 27 December
After the breakfast buffet with Vonkelwijn the Christmas 2017 is over. But you can still be a few days longer our guest!
*During the Christmas dinners of 25 and 26 December we do appreciate black tie as dress code.
